Informal Learning Spaces Vision Document

Informal learning spaces are areas on campus where students read, study, and collaborate on group assignments. During the Spring 2009 semester, a group of faculty and staff investigated the existing spaces around the University Park campus and and summarized their findings. The report details the design characteristics of the existing spaces that make them popular with students, the types of spaces around campus, identified needs and next steps, and components of an assessment plan.
